Planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of young children.
2.
Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
3.
Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
4.
Observing and assessing children's progress and developmental milestones, and communicating findings with parents/guardians.
5.
Managing classroom behavior and promoting positive discipline strategies.
6.
Collaborating with other teachers and staff to coordinate activities and ensure a cohesive learning experience.
7.
Staying current with best practices in early childhood education.
8.
Ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, health, and safety standards.
9.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to assessments and other administrative tasks.
10.
Supporting the overall mission and values of the Peach Pit, 07760.
Must be reliable, organized, creative, joyful & positive person.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons/experiences.
